University of Groningen becoming a global university

Prof. Joost Herman, director Globalisation Studies Groningen Institute said: “Globalisation of higher education institutions is not simply a development, it is a necessity for the world community to face all the challenges that we have nowadays in the world, be it in terms of climate, be it in terms of energy, be it in terms of world refugees, It’s an absolute necessity”.

I understand and agree with this policy and vision completely. I am looking forward to observe the process and the outcomes of this project.
