About the Groningen Confucius Institute

Groningen Confucius Institute (GCI) is part of a wide network of over 300 Confucius Institutes situated all over the world. These institutes are set up by the Chinese government to promote the Chinese language worldwide. GCI is a partnership between the Hanze University Groningen, the University of Groningen and the city of Groningen with the Communication University of China. Source
